Teenager who r@ped six women he met on social media over three-year period starting when he was just 15 years old is convicted of 22 counts

A teenager who r@ped six women 22 times after meeting some of the victims on social media has been convicted of 22 counts.

Kevarnie Queen, now 19, ‘treated the women as objects to use for his own gratification’ and attacked them in dank communal stairwells, Inner London Crown Court heard.

Jurors heard how Queen had met all but one of the six victims on social media, where he’d use his street name of ‘K1’ as his username.

The offences began when he was 15 in May 2019 and went on to to June 2022 when he was 18.

Before May 2022, police had received several allegations of sexual offences against Queen, but in each case the victims were not willing to prosecute.

But on June 7, 2022, one victim plucked up the courage to make a statement against him and agreed to give evidence.

Five others then agreed to support the investigation, supported by specialist officers.

Some of the victims had been in a relationship with Queen and believed sexual abuse they suffered was was a normal part of being his girlfriend.

It is believed he may have many more victims who have not come forward.

Queen claimed he had cheated on all of the victims and as a result they had got together to teach him a lesson.

Detective Constable Jennie Seward said: ‘Queen’s disregard for the young women’s rights to consent, and his complete lack of respect for them, is disgraceful.

He treated the women as objects to use for his own gratification.

Detective Inspector Ian Kenward added: ‘I am pleased with the conviction and would like to pay tribute to the tremendous courage shown by the young women targeted by Queen.

‘Their support has led to a dangerous predatory offender being taken off the streets and I am immensely grateful.’

Queen will be sentenced on October 13.

Chicago Cubs and outfielder Ian Happ have agreed on a three-year contract extension worth $61 million.

The extension will begin in the 2024 season and will be a Cub through the 2026 MLB season.

Ian Happ, who was drafted by the Cubs in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He has been a valuable player for the team over the past few seasons. In 2022, he was selected to his first All-Star team. Happ hit .271 with 17 home runs and 72 RBIs in a career high 158 games played.

The extension is a clear sign that the Cubs believe in Happ’s potential and see him as a key part of their future. Happ, who is still only 28 years old, has shown flashes during his time with the team. The Cubs are hoping that he can continue to develop and reach his full potential.

The Cubs have already spent big money this offseason with the signing of shortstop Dansby Swanson. They are looking to compete for the playoffs in a somewhat weak NL Central. The Cubs are +10000 to win the World Series on Illinois sportsbooks.

The extension also gives the Cubs some much-needed stability as they navigate a period of transition. The team has undergone a significant overhaul in recent years, however, with several key players departing via trade or free agency. With Happ signed to a long-term deal, the Cubs now have a cornerstone player around whom they can build their roster.

Overall, the extension is a positive development for both Happ and the Cubs. Happ gets the security of a multi-year deal and the opportunity to continue playing for a team he loves. The Cubs get a talented player with a bright future and the potential to be a key player for years to come.

The New England Patriots have signed wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster to a three year deal worth up to $33 million.

Juju was one of the better free agent wide receivers on the market. He now goes to a team that is desperately needing another offensive play-maker. New England have lost tight end Jonnu Smith to a trade with the Atlanta Falcons and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who signed a similar deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Smith-Schuster has spent his entire career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs. The 26-year-old receiver has been a consistent performer for his respected teams. In his career, he’s racked up over 4,500 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns in his five seasons in the NFL.

The signing of Smith-Schuster is a major additon for the Patriots, who have been looking to bolster their receiving corps after a disappointing 8-9 season in 2022. With quarterback Mac Jones set to be the starter for another season, Smith-Schuster could provide a much-needed spark to the team’s passing game.

The Patriots will hope Juju is what he once was back in Pittsburgh. He has dealt with many injuries in the past whcih is why he has not received a long term deal until this point. It will be intersting to see if the Patriots will add another reciving threat. A wide receiver like DeAndre Hopkins is on the trade market and New England is a possible landing spot for him. Houston Texans Brandon Cooks is also on the market so they could reunite him with the Pats.

Even with this addition, the Patriots are not seen as favorites to win the AFC East according to Massachusetts sportsbooks. The Bills are still in that division and the Miami Dolphins are emerging.

‘To have helped us achieve the success we have enjoyed in the past four seasons has been unforgettable and made us all hungry to look to achieve even more.

‘I would also like to thank Pep, [director of football] Txiki [Begiristain] and the coaching staff, both for the way they have helped me to develop as a player and for pushing me to continue to improve.

‘Now I just want to try and play my part in helping us be successful next season and beyond.’

Liverpool star, Sadio Mane

Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane has agreed on personal terms to join Bayern Munich in a three-year deal.

The German champions have had two bids for the Senegalese forward rejected as Liverpool continue to demand the right price.

Trusted football journalist, Fabrizio Romano claimed on Twitter that Liverpool are aware of his desire to leave for Bayern and the transfer has entered the ‘final stages’ and is now ‘really close’.

Bayern are hoping to sign him for a cut-price fee, but Jurgen Klopp’s side are determined not to sell for the right price having placed a £42million price tag on his head.

And German outlet Bild report Bayern are aiming to make it third time lucky with a £34.6m bid. Despite still falling £7.4m short of the Reds’ valuation, Bayern hopes that their latest package will tempt Liverpool to sell.

The deal would see the Bavarian outfit pay £30.3m up front with £4.3m in add-ons.

Paul Pogba offered three-year deal at Juventus

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has reportedly been offered a three year deal by Juventus.

Pogba joined United in 2016 for £80m from Juventus in a then club record deal, things have not gone as much as planned and the player is set to leave the club with just two months left on his current deal.

According to Goal, Pogba’s return to the Allianz Stadium looks close even though his wage demands remain a potential stumbling block.

A return to Juventus, where he previously played before returning to United for a second spell in 2016, looks to be one of the likely options for his future and now the Italian giants have tabled an official offer to the player.

The publication stated that Juventus would pay Pogba an annual salary of €7.5 million (£6.3m/$7.9m), that would come with a roster of bonuses for the midfielder.

However, Pogba has reportedly asked for €11 million (£9.3m/$11.6m), leaving a stumbling block between player and club on final wage packets.
