A Nigerian man, Ifeanyi Abugu has said the divorce rate in our grandparents’ time was low because women obeyed their husbands and men respected their wife’s femininity. 

 

“Reasons why there were low records of divorce in the time of our grandfathers; Women were eager to obey their husbands, and men respected the femininity of their wives,” he wrote.
