Timaya Cries Out Over His Inability To Find True Love

Popular Nigerian singer Inetimi Odon known as Timaya has lamented over the difficulties involved in finding true love.

The singer took to his social media accounts to share his concern with his fans.

Timaya noted that true love has become difficult, resembling a challenging pursuit.

He tweeted: “This day’s love is hard to find. Is it me, or y’all with me?”

Many of his followers agreed with him, noting that it is an all-around issue, while some stated that love exists and is not difficult to get.

Recall that the singer, who already has four children from three women, had earlier said he might never tie the knot with anyone because Jesus Christ never married any woman, and he is ‘Christ-like.’

He wrote: ”JESUS never got married. I’m Christ-like.”

Everytime I See Tems Picture I Get Confused

Meanwhile, Timaya has praised his younger colleague, Tems for her talent and hard work.

The singer while speaking during an interview on Cool FM tagged “Road show”, shared his thoughts on the new crop of Nigerian singers today.

The ‘Cold outside’ crooner hailed younger artists, Rema, Fireboy, Tems, Ayra Starr, Ruger, and Buju amongst others.

Speaking further he stated that Tems reminds him of a young girl who was a fan and used to come in front of his house just to see him.

He explained that every time he sees her picture he is confused if she is the one or just a lookalike.

He went further to share a short story about Tems, and spoke on how seeing her pictures on social media confuses him.

Timaya said; “I love Tems, but do you know, I keep looking at Tems. She reminds me of someone when I was living at Abike Sulemon in Lekki Phase One. She was going to Dowen College and she comes out of my house, like the front of my house cuz she wants to see me.

“Those days when she was in secondary school. So I look at her. Sometimes I look at her pictures like is she the one? Maybe it’s she, maybe she’s not.

“You know when somebody will be like “ah, I’m a fan!” But look at her right now. She’s a great, super-duper international superstar. I didn’t know she could sing you know, it’s crazy!”
