Titans stars tipping bitter feud to explode

Stand by for fireworks on Sunday when the Dragons meet the Titans at Kogarah.

That’s the quiet word from both camps as fierce rivals Zac Lomax (Dragons) and Aaron Schoupp (Titans) prepare to go head-to-head.

The pair have had a feud since a blow-up when they played together in the Illawarra juniors several years ago.

The Dragons let Schoupp go as a result of the incident and he has gone on to carve out a promising career at the Bulldogs and now Titans.

Lomax is a classy centre but can also fire up if provoked and all the players from the two clubs are expecting plenty of niggle … or even more serious bad blood between the pair.

“They hate each other – and they don’t hide it,” a Titans player told Wide World of Sports.

“Schouppy has been looking forward to it all week, talking it up, and it should be interesting to see what happens.”

Both teams sit on two points, with the Titans posting an impressive round one win over the Tigers at Leichhardt Oval and the Dragons enjoying the luxury of the bye first up.
