Transfer: Kaizer Chiefs renew interest in Nwabali

Kaizer Chiefs, a prominent South African football club, have resumed their interest in Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, according to a report by DAILY POST.

Nwabali is currently seeking a new club following his departure from Chippa United last month. The Chiefs are in the market for a new goalkeeper due to the recent appendectomy of their starting player, Brandon Petersen.

Nwabali, 29, previously attracted attention from the Chiefs after his standout performance with the Nigerian national team during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire. He is considered one of the top goalkeepers in the South African top flight, having made 66 league appearances with Chippa United.
