Troops arrest TikTok bandits promoter, Sule Yellow

Nigerian Military Arrests Suspected Bandit for Promoting Terrorist Activities on TikTok
The Nigerian military has arrested a man identified as Sule Yellow, a suspected bandit who allegedly used the TikTok handle @suleyellow6 to promote terrorist activities.
Reports circulated on X (formerly Twitter) by the account @mobilisingniger on Monday stated that Yellow was apprehended shortly after he reportedly collected ransom from the family of a kidnapped victim.
Before his detention, Yellow was known for actively showcasing the actions of bandits on TikTok. On March 4, he reportedly participated in a livestream with another suspect, Auta, along with other individuals believed to be involved in similar activities.
Sources indicated that security operatives monitored Yellow’s activities before executing the arrest. Following his capture, authorities disabled his TikTok account to prevent further dissemination of content linked to his alleged criminal behavior.
“The Nigerian Military arrests a notorious bandit, Sule Yellow, after collecting ransom payment from the victim’s family,” read a post from the military. The post also confirmed that “the security forces have since disabled his account after the arrest was made.”
