Trump will remove some African presidents, he’s not ready to help Tinubu – Primate Ayodele

Primate Ayodele Warns of Potential Changes in African Leadership under U.S. Influence
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a warning regarding the influence of U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration on political leadership in Africa. In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele claimed that Trump is not supportive of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.
According to Ayodele, Trump’s actions may exacerbate Nigeria’s existing challenges rather than provide assistance. “Donald Trump will ensure he removes some African presidents. America isn’t working in favor of Tinubu,” he stated. He emphasized that despite Tinubu’s efforts, Trump’s stance could pose significant risks to his presidency.
The religious leader urged heightened vigilance regarding security in several Nigerian cities, including Abuja, Lokoja, Benue, and others, suggesting a potential for attacks in these areas.
Ayodele also called for the Nigerian government to adopt a proactive stance on security issues, advocating for an engaged Chief of Army Staff. He warned of the potential for political assassinations and military ambushes, expressing concern that individuals who could provide intelligence to security forces are too fearful to act.
“The Nigerian government must not overlook this security matter,” he said. “This will still affect the killing of top security leaders and the ambushing of military armories. There will be political assassinations and attacks.”
Ayodele’s statements reflect ongoing apprehension regarding the political and security landscape in Nigeria as the country faces numerous challenges.
