Onuachu Returns to Training Ahead of Istanbul Derby
Trabzonspor has received a significant boost with the return of striker Paul Onuachu to training ahead of this weekend’s derby against Fenerbahce.
Onuachu, a Nigerian international, sustained an injury during Trabzonspor’s 3-0 victory over Samsunspor last weekend, where he was named Man of the Match after scoring two goals.
Participating in Wednesday’s training session positions Onuachu to potentially play in the upcoming match against Fenerbahce. Currently, the 31-year-old leads the Turkish Super Lig with 15 goals.
Trabzonspor sits in third place in the league standings, trailing second-placed Fenerbahce by four points. The match is scheduled to take place at Papara Park on Saturday.
