Nigerian Defender Chibuike Nwaiwu Set to Miss Time Due to Injury
Trabzonspor defender Chibuike Nwaiwu is expected to be sidelined for an unspecified duration due to a thigh injury. The injury occurred during Friday’s match against Fatih Karamguruk, in which Trabzonspor secured a 3-1 victory.
Nwaiwu, who scored two goals in the match held at Papara Park, was substituted 17 minutes before the final whistle. His teammate, Paul Onuachu, also contributed to the victory by scoring for Trabzonspor.
Nwaiwu joined Trabzonspor from Austrian club Wolfsberger AC in January and has made six league appearances for the team. His absence will be a setback for the club as they continue their season.
