Two sisters d!e after being robbed and thrown from moving taxi in South Africa

A peaceful demonstration will be held on April 11, 2025 over the m8rder of two sisters and other victims of domestic violence in South Africa.

 

 

The sisters, Nokwanda Klaas, 27, and Ayanda Klaas, 24, were k!lled in Umbilo, Durban, on 9 March 2025.

 

 

Advocacy group, Women for Change in a statement on Sunday, March 30, said that the two sisters were on their way home from work when they were robbed and thrown out of a moving taxi. 

 

 

They were rushed to the hospital, but Nokwanda passed away on the same day, and Ayanda the following day due to severe head injuries. 

 

 

No one has been arrested.
