This format of lemongrass is very citrussy because its got a dash of orange in it too and in terms of properties, the second ingredient is Aloe Leaf Extract which would account for its gentleness. It does contain essential oils so if they’re not for you, neither is Wild Lemongrass Body Wash. I always like to see a bit of lactic in anything for its smoothing properties – how effective it is in a wash-off product I am not sure but as an efficient, pleasant to use and zesty wake up, it’s really pretty good. All the more so that it’s £6.49.
I’ve also tried the body lotion, £6.99, which is a beautiful blend of aloe and shea, but while a blast of lemongrass in the bath or shower is one thing, I don’t know that I want to wear it all day long. But, that’s personal preference. These are just very pleasant products that I’m pleased to discover – they feel more premium than the price would suggest. It’s at The Fragrance Shop which feels like strange placement but Notino HERE has it a little bit cheaper as well as their other ranges, Lavender and Spicy Orange.
