Super Falcons Announce Squad for Friendlies Against Cameroon

Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has named a 25-player roster for the upcoming double-header friendly matches against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

Notably absent from the list is star forward Asisat Oshoala. The squad features key players such as captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and defenders Ashleigh Plumptre and Michelle Alozie. Veteran defender Osinachi Ohale, along with Halimat Ayinde and Deborah Abiodun, also made the roster.

The first friendly is scheduled for Saturday, while the second match will take place on Tuesday, March 3. Both games will be held in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon.

In the upcoming WAFCON 2026 finals, Nigeria will compete in Group C alongside debutant teams Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt.
