Player of the Week: Enrique Bradfield, Jr., Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt’s Enrique Bradfield, Jr., batted .474 (9-for-19) on the week, including at least one hit in all four games to help Vanderbilt to a 3-1 record. He went .615 (8-for-13) at the plate in the series at No. 4 Arkansas, including multi-hit outings in all three games to help the Commodores take the series in Fayetteville. Bradfield belted the game-winning home run in the 10th inning on Friday and went a perfect 8-for-8 on stolen base attempts with multiple stolen bases in three of four contests last week.

Co-Pitcher of the Week: Noah Hall, South Carolina

Noah Hall helped Carolina to its first SEC shutout of 2022 as he pitched a career high 8.0 innings, allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out eight in a 7-0 win over Kentucky. Hall allowed just three base runners to reach second base in his eight innings while he ended the third, fifth, sixth and eighth innings with strikeouts.

Co-Pitcher of the Week: Carter Holton, Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt’s Carter Holton tossed 7.0 shutout innings while striking out five to help the Commodores clinch the series against Arkansas. Holton notched his second complete game on the season, while picking up his seventh win this year. He limited the Razorbacks to two hits on the afternoon.

Co-Freshman of the Week: Hunter Elliott, Ole Miss

Ole Miss’ Hunter Elliott won his second-consecutive SEC start, shutting down the ninth-ranked LSU Tigers with a single run allowed over 6.2 innings of work. Elliott struck out nine batters in the affair, matching his career-high and the most strikeouts by a Rebel pitcher this season. He scattered four hits and three walks as the Rebels beat LSU 11-1 en route to its first sweep of the Tigers in Baton Rouge.

Co-Freshman of the Week: Blake Burke, Tennessee

Tennessee’s Blake Burke went 5-for-8 in the Georgia series with a pair of home runs to help the Vols clinch the SEC title. He also added a home run and two RBI in the midweek game vs. Bellarmine. Burke posted his first multi-home run game of his career on Saturday and has hit five home runs in his last seven games.
