‘Worst thing that happened to Nigeria’ – VDM blasts Tinubu over soaring fuel prices

Social Media Commentator Criticizes Tinubu Administration Over Fuel Prices
Social media commentator VeryDarkMan has publicly condemned President Bola Tinubu’s administration for rising fuel prices in Nigeria, which have now surpassed N1,000 per liter.
In a recent statement, VeryDarkMan referred to Tinubu as “the worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria,” expressing discontent over the government’s handling of the fuel crisis. “Fuel price hits over 1000 naira per liter. President Bola Tinubu is a failure,” he said. He criticized the administration for alleged dishonesty and mismanagement.
He recalled predictions made earlier this year regarding fuel subsidy issues, stating, “I said it then that the subsidy thing was merely a means to steal. It was even better when they were paying for the subsidy; at least there was a budget of money meant for the benefit of Nigerians.”
In addition to rising fuel costs, VeryDarkMan highlighted concerns in the education sector, particularly regarding scholarship management under the Tinubu government. He remarked on the continued struggles of public schools, stating, “Till tomorrow we still dey cry say our public schools are failing the children,” and criticized the situation of students reportedly stranded in Morocco due to scholarship issues.
“Education sector don fall, everything they collected money for don fall,” he added, questioning the whereabouts of funds from the removed fuel subsidy. “This is the most corrupt government in the history of Nigerian governance.”
VeryDarkMan also cautioned that recent government actions, including internet shutdowns, could indicate deeper systemic issues. “Everything I said has come to pass. When people doubt me, look at it now. Na the same go shut down internet, na that time Nigerians go know say problem dey o wey you no dey see,” he warned.
