2026 World Cup: Rashford, Mainoo England shirt numbers revealed
Manchester United Announces World Cup Squad Numbers for Rashford and Mainoo
Manchester United officials confirmed that striker Marcus Rashford will don the number 11 jersey for the England national team during the upcoming World Cup.
Midfielder Kobbie Mainoo will wear the number 16 shirt.
The complete list of squad numbers for the England team is scheduled for release at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. However, United has preemptively shared the jersey numbers for all 13 of their players participating in the tournament.
Mainoo, who is set to make his mark in his first major tournament with the Three Lions, previously wore the number 26 during Euro 2024.
Rashford will continue with the number 11, a number he has held since the 2021 UEFA European Championship and the 2022 World Cup. Previously, he wore the numbers 19 and 22 at the 2018 World Cup and Euro 2016, respectively.
