ADC Mobilizes for 2027 Elections in Imo State
Ngor Okpala, Imo State — The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has ramped up grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 elections by inaugurating 13-man booth executives across the 23 polling units in Ezeama/Okpala Ward 4.
The event, led by Sir Emeka Amajirionwu, the chairman of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area, gathered party leaders, members, and supporters from the region.
Amajirionwu expressed satisfaction with the turnout and highlighted the effectiveness of grassroots organization within the ward. He commended local leadership and stakeholders for their dedication to strengthening party structures and urged the newly inaugurated booth executives to enhance mobilization efforts within their communities.
“An effective grassroots structure remains critical to the strength and success of any political party,” Amajirionwu stated.
He acknowledged the contributions of the ward chairman and other leaders in expanding the ADC’s presence in the local government area.
During the ceremony, party chieftain Mr. John Eke encouraged the booth executives to take ownership of their polling units and mobilize at least 10 committed voters each to participate in the electoral process.
Lady Leticia Okere, the State Deputy Woman Leader, praised the inclusion of women in the booth executive roles, urging them to utilize their networks to garner support for the party.
Dr. Chigozie Okereke, the Apex Leader of Ezeama/Okpala Ward 4, thanked the party leadership and the inauguration team for their engagement with the ward. He urged party members to remain committed to the ADC, especially in light of the economic challenges facing residents.
Okereke called on members to spread the ADC’s message throughout their communities, describing it as the “good news” of the party.
This inauguration is part of the ADC’s strategy to fortify its booth-level structures and deepen voter outreach in Ngor Okpala as the 2027 elections approach.
