2027: Tinubu’ll relocate Nigeria’s capital to Lagos if he wins – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has asserted that if President Bola Tinubu secures victory in the 2027 general elections, he will move Nigeria’s capital from Abuja to Lagos.

Ayodele shared his prediction in a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. President Tinubu is currently pursuing re-election under the banner of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In the video, Ayodele stated, “Lagos architecture will change. You may not see this one very seriously, but if Tinubu wins a second term, the capital of Nigeria will be relocated to Lagos.” He further suggested that potential locations for the new capital could include areas such as Epe or Lekki.

As the election campaign progresses, Ayodele’s remarks add to the growing discourse surrounding the future of Nigeria’s political landscape.
