‘287 million’ new Naira notes reportedly discovered hidden in a bank vault during a joint operation by EFCCamd ICPC operatives

A CBN joint security operation with EFCC & ICPC, busted a bank that reportedly had over ?287million redesigned Naira notes hidden in its vault. 

A video shared online shows new Naira notes stacked on shelves and on the floor in an inner room in the bank. 

This discovery was made amid cash scarcity that has seen Nigerians queue for hours at ATMs to get cash.

This comes as many Nigerians battle with cash unavailability.
