82 FULafia students face disciplinary panel over alleged exam malpractice

Eighty-Two Students at Federal University of Lafia Face Misconduct Hearings

Eighty-two students from Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) have been summoned to appear before the university’s Examination Misconduct Committee due to alleged violations during recent examinations.

An internal memo dated April 16, 2026, outlines that the students are scheduled to appear before the committee on Monday, April 27, and Tuesday, April 28. The notice, signed by committee secretary Rodney Ageh, instructs the students to collect their individual invitation letters from their respective departments prior to the hearings.

The list of students involved includes two from Agricultural Economics and Extension, six from English and Literary Studies, eight from Biochemistry, five from Microbiology, nine from Library and Information Science, and four from Economics. Additional students from various departments, such as Agronomy, History and International Studies, Mass Communication, Political Science, and more are also implicated.

University officials will review each case and determine appropriate sanctions in accordance with institutional regulations.
