Community Mourns Pastor Following Bandit Attack in Ekiti State
Eda-Oniyo, Ilejemeje Local Government Area, Ekiti State—Church services were suspended across Eda-Oniyo on Sunday as the community came together to mourn a pastor reportedly killed in a recent bandit attack.
All fifteen churches in the area, including the Anglican Church, Christ Apostolic Church, Deeper Life Bible Church, and Assemblies of God Church, were closed in solidarity with the deceased cleric’s family and in support of members of Christ Apostolic Church, whose congregation was targeted during an invasion last Tuesday.
