Kaduna, FCT Route: FRSC urges motorists to utilise Kachia-Bwari road

Motorists Advised to Use Kachia-Bwari Route to Ease Traffic in Kaduna and FCT

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has recommended that motorists traveling through Kaduna and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) utilize the Kachia-Bwari route to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance safety.

FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed issued the advisement, urging road users to remain vigilant and cooperate with traffic officials managing vehicle flow along busy thoroughfares.

Mohammed emphasized that the Kachia-Bwari route serves as a safer alternative, particularly for those heading toward the FCT and its neighboring regions, amid increasing traffic volumes on major roads.

He called on drivers to adhere to traffic regulations, avoid risky overtaking, refrain from speeding, and practice safe driving behaviors. “Safety must remain a priority for all road users,” he stated.

“Motorists should prioritize safety and obey traffic rules while steering clear of speeding, dangerous overtaking, drunk driving, and other violations that could result in preventable accidents,” Mohammed added.

The FRSC has also announced the deployment of officers to monitor traffic flow and assist travelers as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce accidents and facilitate smoother movement.
