EPL: Jackson gives condition to stay at Chelsea under Xabi Alonso

Chelsea Striker Nicolas Jackson Seeks Assurance from New Manager
Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has indicated that he is willing to remain with the club under new manager Xabi Alonso, provided he receives assurances regarding his playing time.
Jackson is expected to return to Chelsea after completing a loan season with Bayern Munich for the 2025/2026 campaign. During his tenure at Chelsea, the Senegal international became a key player, scoring 30 goals in 81 appearances following his £32 million transfer from Villarreal.
Last summer, Jackson’s move to Bayern was facilitated by Chelsea’s significant investment in new talent, including a total spend approaching £100 million for Liam Delap from Ipswich Town and Joao Pedro from Brighton.
According to a report from The Sun, Jackson has expressed a desire for clarity on his role under Alonso. He is said to be keen on staying at Chelsea but will only do so if he is regarded as a “first-choice” player by the new head coach.
During his loan at Bayern Munich, Jackson scored 11 goals in 34 appearances, primarily serving as a backup to England striker Harry Kane.
