Nigerian Rapper Ice Prince Reveals Financial Impact of Smoking

Nigerian singer and rapper Ice Prince Zamani has disclosed that his smoking habit was a significant financial burden before he decided to quit. In a recent appearance on the Black Box podcast, the artist shared that he spent approximately N340 million—around $760,000—on marijuana from a single dealer between 2020 and 2026.

Ice Prince clarified that this figure only accounts for purchases from one dealer based in Lagos and does not include transactions with other suppliers in Abuja, Jos, Ghana, or London.

“I have spent N340 million on weed from just one dealer alone, not to mention my other dealers,” Ice Prince said.

The rapper mentioned that he stopped smoking and consuming alcohol as part of his weight loss journey and self-discovery process. He also indicated that he has been celibate for some time.
