RIVERS STATE, Nigeria — Rivers United has concluded the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season with a commendable second-place finish, solidifying their position in next year’s CAF Champions League.

In a statement released following the season’s conclusion, the club, known as the Pride of Rivers, praised its players for their resilience, determination, and discipline throughout the campaign. “This achievement reflects the unity displayed by our players,” the statement noted.
