Thierry Henry and Presnel Kimpembe to Present UEFA Champions League Trophy
In a nod to tradition, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe are set to present the UEFA Champions League trophy prior to Saturday’s final at Wembley Stadium. This matchup features PSG against Arsenal, marking a significant event for both clubs.
Kimpembe has confirmed his role in the ceremony, stating to Le Parisien, “It’s a great honor to represent Paris Saint-Germain in this Champions League final. I hope it’ll bring luck to the team and to all Parisian supporters.”
Historically, former players from the finalists have the honor of presenting the trophy before the match. Last year, the task fell to Javier Pastore and Javier Zanetti before PSG’s victory over Inter Milan in Munich.
