Covid: Italy, Belgium and Netherlands ban flights from UK over variant

Belgium is suspending flights and prepare arrivals from the UK from midnight (23:00 GMT) Sunday. Prime Minister Alexander De Croo informed Belgian tv channel VRT the ban can be in place for no less than 24 hours as a “precautionary measure”, including “we’ll see later if we’d like extra measures”.
