Manchester United Announce Departures of Key Players

Manchester United has confirmed the departure of several players who will leave the club as free agents this summer, as outlined in a statement released Wednesday morning.

The players set to exit include Jadon Sancho, Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, Sonny Aljofree, James Bailey, and Malachi Sharpe.

Casemiro has spent four years at Manchester United, making 160 appearances and scoring 26 goals. The Brazilian international was instrumental in the team’s victory in the 2023 Carabao Cup, where he scored a crucial header against Newcastle United. He also played a significant role in securing the Emirates FA Cup in 2024.

Tyrell Malacia joined the club in 2022 and has featured in 50 matches. Despite facing multiple injuries throughout his tenure, the full-back appeared three times this season and was part of the squad that celebrated the Carabao Cup win in 2023.

Jadon Sancho arrived at Old Trafford in 2021 and also contributed to the 2023 Carabao Cup triumph. He made 83 appearances for the club before securing loan spells with Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Aston Villa.
