Delta State Government Confirms Former Governor Uduaghan is Alive Amid Death Rumors
The Delta State Government has confirmed that former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan is alive, dispelling rumors of his death.
Ossai Ovie, a media aide to current Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, issued a statement addressing the false reports circulating online. Ovie communicated directly with Uduaghan’s daughter, Orode Uduaghan, who assured him that her father is in good health.
In the statement, Ovie expressed his disappointment at the spread of misinformation. “I have just seen reports claiming that the former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, is dead. Many have reached out to me for confirmation,” he said.
He emphasized the importance of verifying information before sharing, urging the public to disregard the rumors.
