Tinubu, Shettima meet World Bank delegation at State House
President and Vice President Meet World Bank Delegation
ABUJA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima met with a high-level delegation from the World Bank at the State House on Tuesday. The delegation was led by Anna Bjerde, the Managing Director of Operations.
The meeting was confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, in a post on social media platform X.
Details of the discussions have not yet been made public.
This engagement follows a meeting held just 48 hours earlier, in which Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted a similar World Bank delegation at Lagos House, Marina. That meeting was also led by Bjerde and included Ethiopia Tafara, the Regional Vice President for Africa at the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
