Angela Okorie’s Management Denies Rearrest Claims
The management team of Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has refuted recent claims about her rearrest following her release from the Suleja Correctional Centre.
In an official statement released on February 3, 2026, The Moving Train Entertainment, which represents Okorie, confirmed that she is currently at liberty. The statement asserts that all bail conditions have been met and finalized.
“The management of Angela Okorie hereby clarifies that she is currently free and has not been re-arrested as alleged. These reports are inaccurate and misleading,” the statement noted. “We advise the public to rely only on verified and credible sources for information regarding this matter.”
Angela Okorie was initially arrested on January 26, 2026, in Lagos and subsequently transferred to Abuja. She faces allegations of cyberstalking and cyberbullying following a petition filed by fellow actress Mercy Johnson Okojie.
Okorie is a prominent figure in the Nollywood film industry, having embarked on her acting career in 2009. Over the years, she has gained recognition for her roles in action and drama films, appearing in more than 80 features. Known for her bold performances, Okorie is celebrated for her versatility in both acting and music.
