TikTok Creator Offers Marital Advice Ahead of Wedding
Nigerian TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known online as Jarvis, has shared her insights on marriage in light of her upcoming wedding to fellow TikTok star Peller.
In a recent livestream, Jarvis advised young Nigerians to prioritize financial stability before considering marriage. “If you don’t have money, don’t get married. Don’t try it, I beg you,” she stated.
Jarvis further suggested that couples planning to wed may benefit from spreading out their celebrations, recommending that they hold their traditional wedding in one year and the white wedding the following year to alleviate financial pressure.
The couple had a traditional wedding in Benin City, Edo State, last month. They recently announced that their white wedding is scheduled for August 1, 2026. Jarvis noted that they had contemplated postponing the wedding but decided against it, emphasizing, “Even if we put it in the next 50 years, we are never going to prepare for the wedding.”
