‘I used to inherit my friends’ beefs’ – Bisola Aiyeola reveals

Reality TV Star Bisola Aiyeola Discusses Loyalty and Personal Conflicts

In a recent episode of the “Dear Ife” podcast, actress and popular reality TV personality Bisola Aiyeola shared insights about the complexities of loyalty and involvement in conflicts that do not directly concern her.

Aiyeola revealed that she often found herself “inheriting” disputes among friends and colleagues, stepping into conflicts without seeking the perspectives of all parties involved. This practice, she noted, became problematic when a personal disagreement she adopted led her to feel alienated after those involved reconciled.

“I have been in a situation where I have taken a fight that is not mine,” Aiyeola explained. “I have inherited my friends’ disputes, sometimes even with acquaintances, without hearing the other side.”

Reflecting on her experiences, Aiyeola recognized the lesson learned: not every conflict should be adopted. “It’s not everybody’s fight and beef that I would inherit,” she said.

Regarding her expectations of friendships, Aiyeola clarified her views on loyalty. “I don’t expect people to inherit my beef, but if I have an ex-fiancé and my best friend decides to bond with him, we are not friends anymore,” she stated. “I have cut ties with men who were dating and quarrelling with my best friends.”

Through these reflections, Aiyeola highlights the often-complicated nature of loyalty and friendship, emphasizing the importance of setting boundaries in personal relationships.
