Why I keep my wife, children away from social media – Funnybone

Nigerian Comedian Funnybone Discusses Privacy and the Future of Comedy
Nigerian comedian and actor Chibunna Stanley, widely known as Funnybone, recently shared insights into his decision to keep his family life away from social media. In an appearance on The Moraya Show, Funnybone emphasized the importance of privacy in his personal life.
When asked about his marital status, Funnybone confirmed, “Yes, I am married with two kids.” The host then inquired why he does not often share images or details about his family, to which he responded, “In a world where people are just there to look at what is not looking at them, it is safer for you to keep your personal life private.”
He elaborated on his dual identity, saying, “Outside and on the stage, I am Funnybone, but at home, I am Chibunna.”
In discussing the future of the Nigerian comedy industry, Funnybone expressed hope for global recognition. “We are hoping to export our crafts to the world,” he said, noting that for this to occur, significant changes are needed in the industry. He advocated for a revised approach to production, packaging, and marketing within Nigerian comedy.
