N69m fraud: Court grants Blessing CEO N20m bail, imposes travel restrictions
Nigerian Relationship Expert Granted Bail Amid Fraud Charges
LAGOS, Nigeria — Blessing CEO, a self-proclaimed relationship expert, has been granted bail set at N20 million by the Lagos State Special Offences Court. This decision follows her initial bail arrangement of N10 million and comes six weeks after her remand at Kirikiri Prison.
The court made the ruling on Thursday during ongoing proceedings in a case concerning property fraud totaling N69.15 million. Blessing CEO is accused of fraudulently obtaining the funds from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited under the guise of securing a property lease in the Lekki area of Lagos in March 2025. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) brought the charges against her on June 9, 2026.

She faces two counts of obtaining money by false pretenses and theft, to which she has pleaded not guilty.
In his ruling, Justice Rahman Oshodi stipulated that her bail is contingent upon securing two sureties, each required to provide a three-year proof of deposits valued at N20 million. Additionally, the court has instructed the Nigerian Immigration Service to enforce travel restrictions for Blessing CEO pending the resolution of the case.
The trial is scheduled to resume on October 12, 2026.
