Danielle Edochie Speaks Out Against Relationships with Internet Fraudsters
Danielle Edochie, daughter of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has publicly expressed her views on women dating individuals involved in internet fraud, commonly referred to as “Yahoo boys.”
In a video posted on her social media account, Edochie stated that women who pursue relationships with these individuals are typically motivated by financial gain. While she acknowledged her own appreciation for money, she emphasized that she could not rationalize dating someone involved in fraudulent activities.
Edochie issued a caution to potential suitors in this category, asserting, “I will never romanticize the idea of being a partner of someone who defrauds people, whether physically or online. It’s shocking every time someone asks if I’m into fraud boys. I don’t understand why I should compromise my values for someone who steals.”
She went on to highlight that while many women may be drawn to the wealth associated with such individuals, she is not one of them. “I love money too, but please, just stay far away from me,” she said.
