In a recent interview on the BTC Podcast, Nigerian content creator Geh Geh has cautioned men against making significant financial investments in their romantic partners. He argued that many relationships are characterized more by financial dependency than by genuine commitment.

Geh Geh emphasized the importance of men prioritizing their financial stability over extravagant spending on women. He asserted that many men make costly mistakes by sacrificing their own needs to please their partners.

“Don’t train a woman in school. Don’t stress yourself for a woman. Don’t open a business for a woman,” he advised during the discussion.

When the host inquired about whether women make sacrifices in marriage, Geh Geh dismissed the comparison, insisting that men and women fulfill different roles within relationships. “Man and woman no be the same,” he stated.

He also noted that women often enjoy financial advantages after marriage. “The day a woman marries you, she won’t pay rent again,” he added.

Clarifying his stance, Geh Geh clarified that he does not oppose relationships, but he is against women who enter them as a means of escaping financial hardship. “I’m not really against relationships. I dey against women wey wan use relationship take escape poverty. When you dey neglect yourself to please a woman, na financial mistake, you go cry,” he remarked.

Furthermore, he drew parallels to the animal kingdom, suggesting that in many species, females are responsible for sourcing food. Geh Geh reiterated that men should protect their finances rather than making costly sacrifices for their romantic partners.
