Nigerian actor and musician Harry B Anyanwu has appealed to the film community and the public to support actress Maureen Okpoko, who has reportedly been dealing with vision loss for several years.

In a video that has gained traction online, Anyanwu urged his fellow industry members to provide assistance for Okpoko’s treatment.

“I am right here in Enugu with my sister of inestimable value, Maureen Okpoko. Nollywood, let’s reach out to her and support her. She’s blind, but she can restore her sight,” Anyanwu stated.

He emphasized the importance of collective efforts among actors and actresses to help Okpoko access necessary medical care that could potentially restore her vision.
