Okoye Family Feud: I’ll recover every dollar before forgiving – Morayo Brown’s husband, Femi

Femi Afolabi Brown Addresses P-Square Controversy

Femi Afolabi Brown, husband of television host Morayo Brown, spoke on the ongoing dispute between P-Square brothers Peter Okoye and Jude Okoye, emphasizing the importance of recovering debts before considering forgiveness.

In an episode of the “Brown Couch” series, Femi shared his perspective on managing conflicts, particularly from a Christian viewpoint. He was asked about forgiveness in light of the dispute.

“In my own Christian mind, I will collect all my money back first,” he said. “I will collect my money back. And I will forgive and forget. I can forgive and forget, but I will continue to pursue my money.”

Femi highlighted that the financial stakes are significant, underscoring that the disputed money, reportedly over $2 million, is crucial for the welfare of one’s family. “That money is his future. That’s the future of his children. That’s the school fees of his children,” he said. “Will he now let it go? That’s his sweat. That’s what he worked for.”

When questioned about why he couldn’t simply forgive the debt, Femi reiterated the importance of the amount involved. “I can’t let $2 million go. No. I can’t. I will take it. Whatever I can take. Sell everything you have. Bring all the money in your account. Whatever you can pay out of that $2 million, but I will make sure,” he stated.

Citing biblical principles, Femi argued that those who owe should repay. “The Bible says that if a thief steals and is caught, he will replenish. Even the Bible says thieves must pay back,” he noted. “Asking them to pay back is Christian.”

Additionally, Femi expressed that he would not want to maintain any form of relationship with Jude Okoye if he were in Peter’s position. When asked what he would say to Jude if they encountered each other, he stated firmly, “I can’t. I won’t. I can never have a conversation with Jude. God forbid. If I see somebody like that coming, I go another way.”

This commentary adds a personal perspective to the ongoing situation between the P-Square brothers, emphasizing the complexities of personal and financial relationships.
