Nigerian Music Icon 2Face Idibia Discusses Life After Marriage

Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face, has announced that he has moved on from his marriage to Annie Idibia. In a recent interview with media personality Seun Okinbaloye, the celebrated artist emphasized his commitment to his life and career following their separation.

“I have moved on from my ex-wife Annie Idibia; I am focused on my own endeavors,” 2Face stated.

The couple’s relationship, which began in the early 2000s, made them one of Nigeria’s most prominent celebrity pairs. They welcomed their first daughter, Isabella, in 2008 and became engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2012. The couple officially married later that year, with their white wedding ceremony taking place in Dubai in 2013. Their second daughter, Olivia, was born in 2014.

In January 2025, 2Face surprised fans by announcing on social media that he and Annie had been separated for some time and had filed for divorce. Following this announcement, Annie reportedly took a hiatus from social media, deleting posts in response to public reactions regarding the split.

Months later, images and videos surfaced online from 2Face’s traditional wedding to Hon. Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly. The vibrant ceremony drew mixed reactions from fans, particularly regarding the timing in relation to 2Face’s recent separation from Annie.
