Rivers State Appoints New Permanent Secretaries
Port Harcourt, Nigeria — Rivers State Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara has announced the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries within the state’s Civil Service.
The announcement came in a statement released by Inyingi S. I. Brown, the Head of Service, on Tuesday. The newly appointed officials are:
- Vincent Worgu Wachukwu
- Cordelia Uwuma Eke
- Ifeanyi Anthony Ogboma
- Mina Gogo Jim-Jaja
- Henry Uzor
The Governor is scheduled to officiate their swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
This follows the previous appointment of eleven Permanent Secretaries by former Sole Administrator Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas in June 2025.
