Explain why you pampered terrorists but went after Nnamdi Kanu – Ejimakor to Nigerian Govt

Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Questions Government’s Handling of Security Issues

Aloy Ejimakor, legal counsel for Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has called for accountability from Nigeria’s government regarding its handling of security matters over the past eight years.

In a post on X, Ejimakor expressed concern over what he perceives as a disparity in how suspected Fulani terrorists have been treated compared to Kanu and the IPOB. He urged the leaders who have governed Nigeria since 2015 to clarify why they allegedly favored Fulani militants while adopting a more aggressive approach toward IPOB and Kanu.

Ejimakor pointed to recent actions taken by the United States as addressing longstanding issues that he believes should have been resolved by Nigeria’s leadership. He questioned whether ethnic factors influenced the government’s different responses to various groups, leaving many questions unanswered.

“Now that America has done what should’ve been done many years ago, those who ruled Nigeria from 2015 to date must explain why they pampered the Fulani terrorists but went after IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who didn’t even qualify,” he wrote. “Is it because they’re Igbo? So many questions.”
