Men Are Behind Most Failed Marriages

Nollywood Actress Uche Ogbodo Attributes Marital Breakdown to Men
Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has claimed that men are largely responsible for the breakdown of marriages. In a recent Instagram story, she discussed her perspective on the primary reasons for failed marriages, citing neglect, infidelity, betrayal of trust, and emotional distress as significant factors.
Ogbodo emphasized that accountability, both in personal relationships and society at large, exacerbates these issues. She stated, “Men contribute 95 percent to failed marriages. Many marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, cheat, devalue, emotionally harm, emotionally stress, or betray their wives.”
Currently, Ogbodo is in her second marriage, having wed Bobby Maris in October 2023. Her first marriage to Norway-based football agent Ato Ubby in 2013 ended within a year.
In related news, Nigerian filmmaker Onyeka Nwelue has dismissed rumors surrounding the relationship between reality TV stars Bambam and Teddy A. Recent speculation arose after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. A review of their accounts confirmed the absence of each other on their follower lists, with Teddy A also having removed all images of Bambam from his profile.
