Governor Uba Sani Appoints New Commissioners, Aides, and Board Members
Kaduna State, Nigeria — Governor Uba Sani has announced the appointment of three new commissioners, 45 aides, and 40 members to various boards as part of efforts to advance his administration’s development agenda and enhance institutional reforms.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, the Governor emphasized that these appointees are expected to aid in implementing the administration’s transformational agenda, which aims to improve public service delivery and promote sustainable economic growth.
Ben Kure, currently the Managing Director of Kaduna State Media Corporation, has been appointed as the Commissioner for Sports Development. Additionally, Amina Akilu Dalhat will serve as Commissioner for Special Duties I, while Abdullahi Garba Abbas takes on the role of Commissioner for Special Duties II.
The statement also outlined that Dr. Haliru Soba, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration.
Furthermore, the Governor has appointed various individuals to key board positions. Notable appointments include Alhaji Munir Jafaru as Chairman of the Kaduna State Health Care Board and AVM Bashir Gamagira Saidu as Chairman of the Kaduna Vigilance Service Board. Other appointed board chairmen include Hon. Justice Gideon Isa Kurada (Rtd) for the College of Education in Gidan Waya, Esther Bago for the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development, Dr. Yusuf Aliyu Bature for the Kaduna Hospital Supply Management Agency, and Engr. Namadi Musa for the Kaduna Rural Access Roads Authority.
While congratulating the new appointees, Governor Sani noted that they were chosen for their proven track records of excellence, integrity, and dedication. He urged them to bring fresh perspectives to their roles, avoid complacency, and fully align with his vision for a transformed and resilient state. The Governor wished them success and divine guidance in their new assignments.
