Nollywood Actress Uche Ogbodo Attributes High Divorce Rates to Men’s Actions
Popular Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has voiced her views on the factors contributing to divorce, asserting that men are primarily responsible for failed marriages.
In a recent post on her Instagram account, Ogbodo claimed that men contribute to 95 percent of divorce cases. She elaborated that many marriages deteriorate due to issues such as neglect, emotional abuse, betrayal, and infidelity on the part of husbands.
“Men contribute 95 percent to failed marriages. Many marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, cheat, devalue, emotionally harm, emotionally stress, or betray their wives,” Ogbodo stated.
She also highlighted the lack of accountability in relationships and society as a contributing factor that perpetuates these issues.
Ogbodo is currently in her second marriage, having wed Boby Maris in October 2023. Her first marriage to Norway-based football agent Ato Ubby ended less than a year after they tied the knot in 2013.
