2027: ‘I’m staying out of politics’ – Toyin Abraham withdraws from APC Campaign Council
Actress Toyin Abraham has withdrawn her name from the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council for the 2027 elections. This decision follows her recent inclusion in the council, announced just hours prior, which listed 33 entertainers.
The actress was mentioned in the campaign roster released on Thursday, alongside renowned figures such as Oga Bello, Bukky Wright, Yinka Quadri, Pasuma, Saheed Osupa, Small Doctor, and Malaika.
In a response shared on her Instagram story, Abraham urged the public to disregard her inclusion on the list. She emphasized her intention to remain apolitical, stating, “I’m not a member of any campaign council. I have said it recently, I am staying out of politics. Please disregard the supposed inclusion of my name in any campaign committee.”
