Police Service Commission announces 2026 promotion examination timetable
The Police Service Commission has released the schedule for the 2026 promotion examinations for senior police officers, ranging from Assistant Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police.
The examinations are set to take place from Monday, September 28, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
On the first day, September 28, officers seeking promotion from Superintendent of Police to Chief Superintendent of Police will be assessed. Accreditation for these officers will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 10:50 a.m., with the examination scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
On Tuesday, September 29, accreditation for officers taking the Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police promotion examination will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., followed by the examination from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The final day of examinations, Wednesday, September 30, will focus on the promotion from Assistant Superintendent of Police to Deputy Superintendent of Police. Accreditation for these officers will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., with the examination conducted from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
The Police Service Commission has urged all participating officers to pay close attention to their respective accreditation and examination times as they prepare for the promotion process.
