EPL: John Terry names team to win title, predicts where Chelsea will finish

In a recent statement, former England captain John Terry has identified Arsenal as “clear favourites” to capture the Premier League title this season.
Terry noted that Chelsea, under the management of Xabi Alonso, is likely to struggle with inconsistency throughout the year. The Gunners have secured four victories in their first five matches before the international break in September. In contrast, Chelsea has garnered only seven points from a possible 15 in their initial five fixtures.
During an interview with former player Theo Walcott on TikTok, Terry expressed his belief that Arsenal will finish the season ahead of Chelsea. “Unfortunately, it’s going to be Arsenal,” he remarked when asked about the potential standings.
Terry acknowledged Chelsea’s promising start but admitted that the team’s performance has been unpredictable since their match against Arsenal. “We’ve been hit and miss to be honest, and I think that’s going to be our season,” he said. Despite the challenges, he remains optimistic about Chelsea’s chances of securing a top-four finish. “I still think we’re a couple of years away from competing for the Premier League,” he added.
Terry reaffirmed his view that Arsenal has a significant opportunity to establish dominance in the league this season.
