EPL: Arteta becomes highest-paid manager with new Arsenal contract

Arsenal Football Club has confirmed that manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract, making him the highest-paid manager in the Premier League. The announcement was made on Wednesday.
Arteta’s new contract, which extends until 2030, is performance-based and recognizes his achievement of leading Arsenal to the league title after a 22-year drought. Reports indicate that Arteta’s potential earnings could approach £20 million per year, depending on performance-related bonuses.
In comparison, Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner reportedly earns around £14 million annually, including add-ons.
With this new deal, Arteta also retains the title of the longest-serving manager in the English top flight.
