Goods worth millons of naira destroyed as fire ravages shops in Ibadan market
A fire at Bodija Market in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, has resulted in the destruction of goods valued at millions of naira.
According to a statement from local authorities on Monday, responders found that 15 out of 44 shops in one row were engulfed in flames, with thick smoke emanating from the affected area.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident, which officials attribute to an electrical surge.
