A tragic incident unfolded in Kogi State on Friday when a police corporal allegedly shot his girlfriend before taking his own life. The incident took place at approximately 9 p.m. and involved an officer assigned to the Ajaokuta Division of the Kogi State Police Command.
Reports indicate that the corporal shot his girlfriend at close range before he turned the firearm on himself. The exact circumstances surrounding these deaths remain unclear as investigations are underway.
